Argos has been a client of Pixel’s since our work with them in 2013 to revamp the whole Argos experience and offer a more tech-focused in-store proposition. Following the success of their new store format, Argos ran a 10-store pilot of new-look concessions in Sainsbury’s supermarkets. The pilot proved popular with customers and staff and both companies. The merging of the category spanning product range of Argos with the convenience and superb location of Sainsbury’s store really worked well
Then in late 2016, Sainsbury’s took over Home Retail Group (parent company of Argos) and, since then, the store-in-store installs have been flying off the shelves!
August saw the installation of the 100th site at Barnstaple down in North Devon. Benefitting from a range of Pixel supplied solutions such as a couple of 75” ‘wall bays’ and a number of 49” ‘back wall’ screens, the new retail experience is proving popular with the North Devonians.
